Delete Your Account

You can delete your Splitmaster account and all associated personal data at any time. Deletion is permanent after a 30-day grace period.

Delete from within the app

1. Open the Splitmaster app.
2. Go to the You tab.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account is locked immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days. You can cancel any time within those 30 days by simply logging back in.

Don't have the app installed?

If you can't open the app, email us and we'll delete your account for you. Please send the request from the email address associated with your account so we can verify it's you.

What's deleted

After the 30-day grace period, we permanently delete your personal data:

• Your name and email address
• Your profile photo
• Your receipt images

What's kept

To keep your friends' shared balances accurate, anonymized transaction records may be retained. These contain no personal details and can no longer be linked back to you.

Retention period

A deletion request has a 30-day grace period, during which you can cancel it by logging back in. After 30 days, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
